I'm Amanda Buzard, aka Buzz. I am a ceramic artist and graphic designer based in San Francisco, California.

My functional ceramic pieces are thoughtfully designed and durable enough for everyday use. I use my prototypes at home daily—refining pieces through constant use allows me to perfect sizing, geometry, and glaze techniques. Clay bodies and glazes are chosen for how they complement one another, which often lets the natural clay shine.

The process of making a piece of pottery is quite long and involved; it's an ancient artform that is slow and methodical. My goal is to create practical objects that are also pieces of art in your home. They serve as reminders to stop and think about our everyday objects: where they came from and the hands that made them.
